ISLAMABAD: Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Javed Iqbal has taken notice of sudden increase in pharmaceutical drug prices and accusations of alleged corruption in the matter.
Chairman of anti-graft body has directed Director General NAB Rawalpindi for an investigation into the matter.
Chairman NAB said that pharmaceutical drugs are out of reach for common man after the hike in the prices while adding that drugs shortage is also reported.
The NAB head instructed to review every aspect of the matter and perpetrators should face harsh punishment.
