Multan Customs seizes 4700 liters of HSD from Mianwali

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Preventive Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) seized 4700 liters of smuggled High Speed Diesel along with oil tanker during their operation near Mianwali.

Sources told Customs Today that ASO received credible information from their source that oil tanker is carrying smuggled High Speed Diesel. Anti-Smuggling Organization formed special team to intercept said High Speed Diesel.

Anti-Smuggling squad intercepted suspected Hino oil tanker which was filled with 4,700 litres of High Speed Diesel (HSD) oil and driver was asked to produce import documents of said petroleum products.

Driver of said oil tanker failed to produce any legal documents of the said High Speed Diesel. Customs team seized Hino oil tanker with 4700 liters HSD and formed seizure report against non-customs paid HSD along with vehicle in their action.

The net worth of seized HSD is Rs6 million and value of trailer Rs 1.5 million. Further investigation is still underway.
