FBR seeks ACRs of inspectors from Multan Customs for promotion

MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has directed Collectorate of Customs Preventive inspectors to submit their complete annual confidential report (ACR) to the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) for promotion and up-gradation.

Sources told Customs Today that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued instructions that all customs inspectors should finalize their missing annual confidential report for the up-gradation and promotion cases within given time line. Several Customs inspectors from Multan were deprived from promotion and up gradation in the Departmental Promotion committee meeting due to delay in submission of annual confidential report.

The Federal Board of Revenue has directed all Customs Inspectors to submit their annual confidential report on time to avoid any sort of hindrance. Customs Inspectors have started completing their ACR,s up to date after the directions of Federal Board of Revenue, so that exercise of promotion can be finalized within the given time as per available record.

Sources told that the majority of Customs Inspectors submitted their ACRs every year on time but few of them had not been able to submit their Report due to the limited deadline and they were also denied promotions in the Departmental Promotion Committee .Customs Inspectors are completing their ACR,s to avoid any discarded situation in the current DPC.
