Peshawar and Quetta collectorates to get WeBOC module soon

KARACHI: After the successful implementation of WeBOC module at Wahga Model Customs Collectorate, the Directorate General of Reforms and Automation has geared up efforts to implement the module at the remaining two land customs stations of Peshawar and Quetta.

The directorate has asked the Peshawar and Quetta collectorates to communicate the plan to its officers and staff as well as the relevant terminal operators so that WeBOC technical team could make the necessary arrangements for the smooth roll-out of the module.

The first WeBOC Land Border Customs Station module was successfully launched at Wahga Model Customs Collectorate-Preventive, Lahore on 8 December.

The draft rules for the module have already been sent to the Peshawar and Quetta collectorates. The Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta collectorates have also been asked to sensitise and review the rules and forward them to the Federal Board of Revenue for approval through a notification.

Chaman and Torkham Land Border Customs Stations would get the same module.
