Multan Customs issues notice to owner for disposal of confiscated goods

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement & Compliance (E&C) has issued notice to owner of confiscated goods for disposal.

Sources told that Superintendent State Warehouse has exercised powers under section 169(4) of the customs act 1969. Multan Customs has served notice to Muhammad Khalil son of Muhammad Sharif resident of chak no.323 tehsil & district Toba Tek Singh and Muhammad Nazir son of Muhammad Ramzan Zia Khan resident of Manawala Jaud Singh tehsil & district Sheikhupura.

The anti-smuggling squad has seized lady printed fabric of 21.5 kilogram, boy shirts, braziers, ladies underwear’s, laptop hp (pavilion note book) with one extra hardware and projector of Acer -115 HDLP EMEA China mode number DSV1523 and framed seizure report under Customs act 1969. The seizure case was forwarded to Customs Adjudication for trial.

Deputy Customs Adjudication Multan has issued order-in original no.219-224/2017 after concluding hearing of seizure case. Deputy Collector Customs Adjudication has issued order for the confiscation of seized goods. Superintendent State Ware House Customs House Multan has issued notices to owners and informed them that said goods will be disposed of through auction. If owners have any stay order granted at any forum the same may be provided otherwise no excuse what so ever will be accepted and said goods will be auctioned.
