Gwadar Customs impounds 22 NDP vehicles worth Rs45m

QUETTA: Collectorate of Customs Gwadar in a joint operation with FC scouts seized 22 non-custom-paid vehicles worth Rs45 million.

According to sources, Collector Gwadar Tahir Qureshi has expedited an anti-smuggling campaign and showrooms housing non-custom-paid vehicles are being raided.

The seized vehicles include 12 Toyota Corrola X; 2 Toyota Premio; 2 Toyota Axio; 1 Toyota SSR Surf; 1 Prado TX; 3 Toyota Vitz and Suzuki Kei.

The total value of seizure is approximately Rs 45 million.

It is necessary to mention here that after assuming the charge, Collector Tahir Ali Qureshi all anti-smuggling squads to adopt zero tolerance policy against owners of non-customs paid vehicles. He further directed that anyone who found involved in smuggling should be dealt as per law.
