Multan Adjudication settles 56 seizure cases involving Rs291.696m

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office has settled almost 56 seizure cases involving Rs291.696 million during the month of February 2020-21.

The Collectorate of Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office has disposed 56t seizure cases framed by Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) and Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation during their various actions. Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office has issued Order-in-Original (ONO) in the 56 various seizure cases after completion of legal proceedings on the basis of presented facts.

Deputy Collector Customs Adjudication Multan Abdul Mueed Kanjoo settled almost 18 various seizure cases of worth Rs12.523 million throughout February after concluding legal proceedings. Deputy collector Abdul Mueed Kanjoo settled all seizure cases in the favour of Customs department after judging facts. Almost 56 fresh seizure cases of Rs.36.130 million have been added in the month of February in the Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office.

Additional Collector Customs Adjudication Sumaira Omer decided 10 various seizure cases of worth Rs.17.040 million throughout the month of February 2020-21.Additional Collector has settled all said seizure cases in the favor of Customs after observing facts during trial in February. Near about 19 new seizure cases of Rs.35.259 million were added for trial in the court of Additional Collector Adjudication during February.

Collector Adjudication Asif Buzdar settled almost 28 different seizure cases of worth Rs.261.939 million for the duration of February. All these seizure cases were decided in the favor of Customs department. These decided seizures were against violation of rule, smuggling, misuse of DTRE export facility cases and others. As many as 18 different seizure cases of worth Rs.195.285 million was added during said month for legal trial.
