Islamabad Adjudication decides 46 cases involving Rs10895m in favor of customs department

ISLAMABAD:  Collectorate of Customs Adjudication has decided 46 cases in favor of Customs department involving Rs10895 million during the month of July 2021-22.

According to details, 93 cases involving Rs10442 million were pending with the Collectorate of Adjudication I while number of 30 fresh cases in worth of Rs452 million were added during the month of July 2021.

The document provided to the correspondent showed that 123 cases were available for Adjudication proceeding for Collector Adjudication in worth of Rs.10895 whereas out of above available 123 cases 29 numbers of cases had been decided.

The sources of Adjudication told that the performance of Adjudication Islamabad was satisfactory during the month of July 2021-22 whereas the Customs Today informed that there were cases in number of 77 in value of Rs.10261 with pendency period of 3 months to 1 year.
