Iqbal Bhawana appointed as Member Technical Customs Appellate Tribunal Bench-III

KARACHI: Prime Minister Imran Khan after consultation with Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Gulzar Ahmad has appointed 6 Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) officers of BS-21 as member technical, Customs Appellate Tribunal for a period of three years.

Newly appointed member technical are Mohammad Iqbal Bhawana, Abdul Basit Chaudhary, Ziauddin Wazir, Mohammad Amir, Imtiaz Ahmad Shah and Khalid Hussain Jamali.

A notification issued by the government stated that Mohammad Iqbal Bhawana has appointed member technical Customs Appellate Tribunal Bench-III, Karachi, Abdul Basit Chaudhary member technical, Customs Appellate Tribunal Bench-I, Imtiaz Ahmad Shah member Technical Customs Appellate Tribunal Bench-II, Karachi, Ziauddin Wazir member technical Customs Appellate Tribunal Bench-I, Islamabad.

Mohammad Amir member technical, Customs Appellate Tribunal Bench-II, Islamabad and Khalid Hussain Jamali member technical Customs Appellate Tribunal Bench-I Quetta.

It is pertinent to mention here that Mohammad Iqbal Bhawana also served as Collector Adjudication for a period of two years and during his tenure as Collector Adjudication he settled record number of pending cases to provide relief to importers.
