Govt notifies Dr. Shahab Imam as member of Civil & Criminal Laws Reforms Committee

ISLAMABAD: Renowned advocate Dr Shahab Imam has been nominated as co-opt member of the Civil and Criminal Laws Reforms Committee.

President of Pakistan also awarded shield to Dr Shahab Imam at ITCN Asia 2019 for his untiring efforts, enabling the environment for youth, innovation, industry and ease of doing business

Dr. Shahab Imam has rich experience of 25 years to serve civil service in all three formats of Government level federal, provincial and local government. Currently, he is practicing as a lawyer at Sindh High court and represents as counsel for customs department FBR.

Moreover, he is member Alternate-dispute resolution committee Federal Board of Revenue! And also member of watch dog – Transparency International Pakistan.

Earlier, on Prime Minister of Pakistan directives Ministry of Law & Justice notified a committee on “Civil & Criminal Law Reforms and their implementation.

Federal Minister Law Dr. Farogh Naseem is the chairman of the Committee. All provincial law secretaries KPK, Balochistan, Punjab, advocate general Punjab, KPK, Balochistan and ICT, Prosecutors General KPKCT , Balochistan and Punjab are also members.

The TOR of the Committee are (1) Civil & Criminal law reforms and their implementation to the extend of Punjab, Balochistan, KPK and ICT (2) periodical presentation by federal law minister to PM (3) any other agenda.
