KARACHI: Regional Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) has seized smuggled goods and a non-duty paid Lexus car near Maripur truck stand.
According to the details, on the credible information of Director General Customs Intelligence Faiz Chadhar, a customs squad was constituted under the leadership of Deputy Director Customs Intelligence Wasif Malik who took timely action and conducted a major operation near the Maripur truck stand, as a result of which smuggled goods worth Rs150 million were recovered and case has been registered against the smugglers.
The goods recovered in the recent operations of the Customs Intelligence include the below items including mobile phones, laptops, LCD panels, besides the squad also recovered cosmetics, cordless phones, electric cables, body lotion and other items.
