Karachi I&I impounds smuggled goods, NDP Lexus car worth Rs150m

KARACHI: Regional Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) has seized smuggled goods and a non-duty paid Lexus car near Maripur truck stand.

According to the details, on the credible information of Director General Customs Intelligence Faiz Chadhar, a customs squad was constituted under the leadership of Deputy Director Customs Intelligence Wasif Malik who took timely action and conducted a major operation near the Maripur truck stand, as a result of which smuggled goods worth Rs150 million were recovered and case has been registered against the smugglers.
