PESHAWAR: Bank of Khyber (BoK) has entered into a strategic partnership with Wateen Telecom Limited to enhance its digital infrastructure through the deployment of a centralized Wi-Fi solution integrated with an advanced Web Application Firewall (WAF).
The agreement was signed by Rashid Zaman Khan, Chief Information Officer, and Syed Muhammad Jafar, Head of IT Operations, on behalf of Bank of Khyber, while Adil Rashid, Chief Executive Officer, and Nasir Mahmood, Vice President, represented Wateen Telecom. Senior representatives from both organizations attended the signing ceremony.
Under this partnership, Wateen Telecom will implement a centralized wireless network across Bank of Khyber offices, providing secure, reliable, and high-performance connectivity. The integrated security solution will safeguard the Bank’s internet-facing applications and digital banking platforms against evolving cyber threats, further strengthening the Bank’s technology infrastructure and operational resilience.
