During the maintenance window, taxpayers and other users will not be able to access the IRIS platform or carry out related online transactions. The services are expected to resume immediately after the maintenance is completed.

PRAL has advised government departments, organizations, tax practitioners, and taxpayers to make the necessary arrangements in advance to avoid disruptions during the scheduled downtime.

The IT authority also said an advisory banner will be displayed on the IRIS portal ahead of the maintenance period to inform users about the temporary service interruption.

Despite the outage, the FBR Contact Center will remain operational throughout the maintenance period to assist users with inquiries and provide technical support.
