FBR, ICAP jointly organise seminar on filing tax return for TY 2026

PESHAWAR: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), Peshawar Office, jointly organised an informative seminar on “Filing of Income Tax Return for Tax Year 2026”.

The session was conducted by the FBR Domain Team, which provided participants with a comprehensive overview of the income tax return filing process for Tax Year 2026.

The seminar covered the latest filing requirements, key changes, online filing procedures and practical aspects of submitting income tax returns for the tax year.

A large number of chartered accountants and tax practitioners from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa participated in the session.

Tax practitioners discuss filing challenges

The interactive seminar provided participants with an opportunity to discuss practical issues and seek clarification on various aspects of the income tax return filing process.

The FBR team briefed participants on the updated requirements and procedures aimed at facilitating the submission of returns for Tax Year 2026.

Participants also raised questions concerning practical challenges they may encounter while completing and submitting their returns through the online system.

Joint FBR-ICAP initiative appreciated

The seminar was well received by participants and served as a platform for enhancing professional knowledge and keeping tax practitioners informed about the latest developments in income tax return filing.

The joint initiative also enabled tax professionals to gain a better understanding of the updated filing requirements and address practical issues associated with submitting income tax returns for Tax Year 2026.
