Mrs. Nighat Tariq purchased the shares at Rs. 399.22 per share through the Negotiated Deal Market (NDM) via the Central Depository Company (CDC).

The transaction amounted to approximately Rs. 179.65 million, or Rs. 17.96 crore.

Following the purchase, her total shareholding in MCB Bank increased to 6,165,093 shares, representing 0.52% of the bank’s total shares.

Based on an annual dividend of Rs. 36 per share and a 15% withholding tax, her existing shareholding could generate approximately Rs. 188.65 million, or Rs18.87 crore, in annual dividend income after tax. However, the actual amount will depend on the bank’s future dividend declarations and applicable tax rates.
