FIA arrests two human traffickers from Sialkot, seizes passports, cash

SIALKOT: A team of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) raided a travel agency in Sialkot and arrested two travel agent-turned-human traffickers Mujahid Anjum and Saqlain Shah.

The FIA also seized several passports, Rs 0.5 million cash and the dozens of medical certificates from them.

According to senior FIA officials, both of the accused had been running a black business of sending innocent people abroad illegally after extorting money from them by showing them the golden dreams of their lucid future in abroad.

The FIA has registered a case against the accused and sent them behind the bars. Further investigation is underway.
