MULTAN: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Chaudhry Muhammad Saleem has said that the City District Government of Multan will seal the offices of the property dealers who would fail to register their businesses with the city government.
Meanwhile, the District Property Dealers Association has organised a seminar with the cooperation of the City District Government to create awareness about the property business in the city. District Property Dealers Association President Muhammad Abid has said that every property dealer must ensure his registration with the district government.
General Secretary DPDA Rao Anees ur Rehman said that every property dealer should provide complete detail about the renter to the nearest Police Station of that Premises before giving them any house or shop. He said that the property dealer should not contract about any property without proper verification and all aspect of tenant must be taken for the security reasons.
The new property laws will not bother the real estate business as it is for the safety of Public, the commission of the property dealers will not affect with this law, and his association will make an effort for the proper implementation of this law to neglect terror campaign in the country.
He said that the commission will remain 2 percent for the sale and purchase of any property but the registration will help to fight against terrorism. Property Dealers Association President Muhammad Abid said that in current wave of terrorism the law will discourage the open transfer of property in the city and property dealer will be issued with the digital computerized registration number to ensure security.
This property registration law will also assist Excise and Taxation Department in the collection of their revenue and the tax evaders will pay taxes voluntarily due to this law said by Rao Anees ur Rehman.
