Bull-run at KSE reverses back as 100 Index loses 82.79 points to reach 34383.74

KARACHI – The Karachi Stock exchange could not continue the bull-run caused by the a 100bps policy rate cut by the State Bank of Pakistan, as the benchmark KSE-100 Index lost in early trading on Tuesday lost 82.79 points or 0.24 percent to reach 34383.74.

A day earlier, the shares market welcomed as the move propelled the index into uncharted territory as KSE-100 Index had rose by 440 points or 1.29pc to close 34,467 points. Falling interest rate brought renewed interest in high dividend yielding and leveraged stocks.
