SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has sent as many as 2,000 pending applications to Director FIA Lahore for seeking legal opinion on these applications.
According to the senior FIA officials, these applications had been submitted before the FIA for registration of the separate cases against the notorious human traffickers several years ago. These applications had been lying unattended at FIA Gujranwala offices. The applicants had been suffering from great ordeal in getting their cases registered against the human traffickers , who had plundered the millions of rupees from the hundreds of the innocent people by showing them the golden dreams of their lucid future abroad.
It was learnt that the notorious human traffickers were lying still at large due to the absence of quick legal action against them. The concerned FIA officials kept the said 2000 applications with them for the last several years, which had been submitted before the FIA by the affected people, who sought help of FIA against the human traffickers , running the illegal business of sending the people abroad illegally by extorting handsome amounts. Now, after the years long wait, the FIA Gujranwala has sent these 2000 applications to the office of the Director FIA Lahore , seeking the legal opinions on these applications.
