Pakistani High Commissioner in India Abdul Basit said that economic relations between Pakistan and India constituted an important aspect of relations and will bring people on both sides of borders together.
While addressing the jointly inauguration of “Aalishan Pakistan Exhibition” at Pargatti Maidan, New Delhi, he said that India was important neighbour and time had come “we walk past the narratives of past and make a new beginning.”
He said that “I am sure this event will show us the path towards creating opportunities for our countries and finding new avenues,” according to press release received.
Aalishan Pakistan Exhibition jointly inaugurated by Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) Chairman SM Muneer, High Commissioner of Pakistan Abdul Basit and FICCI President Siddharth Birla at Pargatti Maidan.
On the occasion, SM Muneer said the event will help people living below poverty line in both the nations.
Leading Pakistani brands like M/s. Gul Ahmed, M/s. Alkaram, M/s. Orient, M/s. Chen One, M/s. Junaid Jamshed, M/s. Bonanza and M/s. Bareeze are participating in the event.
From High End Retailer brands like Khaadi, Sana Safinaaz, Kayseria, Sharique Textiles, Lala Textiles, Needle Impressions etc. are participating.
High end designers, like Sania Maskatiya, Deepak Perwani, Shamaeel, Faiza Samee, Fashion Pakistan Council, Ensemble, Omar Sayeed, Farnaz Mustafa are participating in the Designer Section of Exhibition.
