Iraqi PM Haider Abadi met with Vice President Iyad Allawi for consultations over the formation of the next government.
Abadi’s press office said in a statement that the two sides “discussed the developments in the political process and the formation of the next government on a national basis.”
Both sides tackled the possibility of integrating Allawi’s National Alliance into the coming government as well as alliances of Sairun, Victory and Wisdom, the statement read.
