ISLAMABAD: Abdul Rasool, an Inland Revenue Service officer BS-17, presently posted as Deputy Commissioner-IR (on acting charge basis) Regional Tax Office, Sukkur, has been promoted to the post of the Deputy Commissioner-IR, on regular basis with immediate effect.
According to the notification, the officer will continue to serve at his present place of posting on his promotion until further orders. If the officer is already drawing performance allowance, he will continue to draw the same after promotion, it added.
Meanwhile, Pervez Iqbal, a BS-16 officer of Customs Department, presently posted as Principal Appraiser, Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement (West), Karachi, will stand retired from Government Service with effect from Mar 23, 2015 on attaining the age of superannuation.
