KARACHI: Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali has claimed that 660MW electricity would be generated through Port Qasim coal-fired plant by October 2017.
He said this, while visiting the plant in Karachi. He further said that another 660MW electricity would be added to the national grid in March 2018. The minister said that completion of these power plants would help in overcoming the loadshedding and spur the process of industrial development in the country.
