About 3,000 Sikh Yatrees reach Lahore today

LAHORE: Pakistan Customs Wagha border has made all the arrangements to receive and clear more than three thousand Sikh Yatrees in a speedy way at the Wagha border.

According to sources of Customs Today, more than 3,000 Sikh pilgrims have got their visas for Pakistan on the eve of Bisakhi Mela and other religious rituals in different cities of Punjab.

Pakistan Customs has made special counter at Wagha Railway Station to facilitate Indian Sikh pilgrims. Higher authorities of Pakistan Customs will also be present at the Wagha to monitor all the procedures.
Earlier, this was stated by Chairman of Evacuee Trust Properties Board Siddiqul Farooq at a news conference in Lahore that all the departments, including Customs, Rangers and police, have made proper arrangements to welcome and facilitate the Yatrees on the arrival at Wagha border.
Baisakhi Festival will start on 14th of this month at Gurdwara Panja Sahib, Hassanabdal, in which thousands of Sikhs from all over the world will participate.
