MULTAN: An accountability court convicted accused Rao Muhammad Javed Iqbal and Rana Shahid Latif, owners/sponsors of Abdullah City Bahawalpur, of three-year imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 94 million.
The accused had cheated 28 members of the public at large under the garb of a housing society in Muza Hootwala Bahawalpur namely Abdullah City, said a press release issued by the NAB here on Friday.
