During the hearing of said case, Kamran Ali’s defense counsel withdrew his bail application from the court after argument that he is not the owner of the recovered High Speed Diesel and only a driver of that oil tanker having registration No: TLR-995 which was used for transportation. The said driver also recorded his statement that it was not in his knowledge that he is transporting the smuggling High Speed Diesel in his oil tanker.

Another accused Najeebullah son of Habibullah, a resident of Abbottabad, has also filed a post-arrest bail plea in the customs court and his counsel requested the Customs Judge that Najeebullah has health issues so he needs relief for his treatment. Najeebullah was transporting High Speed Diesel in his oil tanker having registration No: TLG 932.

The Customs Judge directed the Superintendent Jail to produce the accused in person before the customs court on 13th of March and the further proceeding was postponed till the next hearing of the case.
