ACE arrests three officials of Daska revenue department for bribe

SIALKOT: A special team of Anti Corruption Establishment (ACE), raided at the Govternment Land Revenue Center Daska and arrested three accused officials Ahmed Bilal (incharge  of this center), Muhamamd Shehbaz (computer operator) and Sabir (security camera operator) red handed while taking Rs 10,000 in cash as bribe from village Saahneywali-Daska based landlord Ehsan Baryar.

Director ACE Gujranwala Division Rana Abdul Shakur told that landlord Ehsan Baryar had applied for getting the computerized record of his land, on which the above-mentioned accused officials of Government Land Revenue Department had deliberately wrote the wrong name of father of the landlord. Later, they demanded Rs. 35000 bribe for the correction of this name. Under a deal, the said officials took Rs 25000 in cash first and today took Rs.10,000 in cash as bribe.
