ACE registers cases against 35 corrupt employees

SIALKOT: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) has registered separate corruption cases against 35 employees of different government departments for taking bribe, fraud, funds embezzlement and exceeding their official powers.

Sources told Customs Today that ACE senior officials have ordered early arrest of the corrupt employees of different departments, including police, education, revenue , excise and taxation, highways and health departments in Gujranwala Division’s all the six districts Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahaud Din, Hafizabad and Gujranwala.

Regional Director ACE Gujranwala Division Rana Shehzad Saeed told Customs Today that the ACE had yet disposed of as many as 180 inquiries into corruption cases. He said that all the above-mentioned corrupt officials would be brought to task for providing relief to the complainants, in this regard.
