WASHINGTON: Adani Ports extended losses for the second day and was the worst performing stock on both the benchmark indices. The stock is trading 3% lower at Rs.201.45 on BSE.The company posted a net profit of Rs. 9140.60 mn for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 compared with Rs.6607.30 mn for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.
The scrip opened at Rs. 210.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 210.25 and Rs. 197 respectively. So far 10510400(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 43003.31 crore.
The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 374.7 on 20-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 169.65 on 12-Feb-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 243 and Rs. 205.75 respectively. The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.39 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.14 % and 5.47 % respectively.
