ADC Beelam hears 8 cases involving Rs 13.3m‏ on Thursday

FAISALABAD: Customs Adjudication Additional Collector Beelamur Ramzan held the hearing of eight cases involving Rs 113.34 million on Thursday

The Customs ASO impounded non-duty paid used Hino truck, foreign origin cigarettes, Toyota Crown, fabrics, old and used machinery, aluminum sheets, Lexus car and other contraband items.

The additional Collector heard two cases of Faisalabad ASO involving Rs 2.74 million against suspects,  Muhammad Amjad and Muhammad Saeed, while Sargodha ASO filed a case involving Rs 2 million against Aqeel Khan.

The Model Customs Collectorate DTRE branch filed one case involving Rs 1.61 million against M/s J.K Spinning.

The adjudication authority also heard three cases of Miawali ASO involving Rs 6 million against Alamgir Khan and Rafiullah, besides hearing a case of Jhang ASO involving Rs 2 million against Shahid Zaman.

Additional Collector Beelum adjourned all the cases until next hearing.
