FAISALABAD: Customs Adjudication Additional Collector Beelam ur Ramzan has issued a show-cause notice to owner of a non-duty paid used Hino Truck.
The additional collector issued the notice to Attaullah son of Muhammad Anwar who is a resident of Tehsil Muslim Bagh, Qila Saifullah.
The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organistation (ASO), Mianwali impounded truck bearing Registration No. LIT-9197 Model 1998 after the driver failed to show documents regarding legal import of the vehicle.
The Mianwali ASO after impounding the vehicle forwarded the case to Customs Adjudication for further proceedings. The adjudication authority also directed the owner to provide evidence otherwise the case will be decided on the basis of evidence available on demand.
The adjudication also directed the ASO Deputy Collector Muhammad Rizwan to attend the hearing on the schedule date along with relevant record.
