ADC Customs issues release of 60,000 liters diesel

MULTAN: Additional Collector Customs Adjudication has issued release order of 60,000 Liter High Speed Diesel (HSD) oil seized by the Customs Intelligence and Investigation during an operation.

Additional Collector Customs Adjudication Fayaz Anwar has issued the Order in Original 15/2015 in case number 349/14 in which Customs Intelligence and Investigation had seized the oil tanker containing 60,000 Liters HSD.

The owner provided evidence in the hearing of seizure case that the oil seized by the Customs Intelligence and Investigation was purchased from the Byco  Petroleum Pakistan and the tax duty was paid. The owner also produced the original invoices at the hearing.

Customs Intelligence and Investigation seized Hino oil tanker registration number TLX-378 filled with 60,000 Liters HSD from Lasbella in the surrounding of Sadiqabad. Customs Intelligence and Investigation has intercepted the High Speed Diesel oil in charge of smuggled oil but they have failed to present any evidence regarding the smuggling of the HSD oil. Seizure case against the High-speed Diesel oil was registered under the provision of section 194-A of Customs Act 1969.

Mean While ,Additional Collector Customs Adjudication Fayaz Anwar has decided the case in the favor of owner as he provided all required documents in the hearing.
