Additional Collector Asma Hameed hears 25 cases

FAISALABAD: Additional Collector Adjudication Asma Hameed has conducted hearing of 25 cases related to smuggling.

Sources told Customs Today that all the cases involved smuggling of foreign origin cloth, non-duty paid Toyota vehicles LED liquor and other miscellaneous items.

Sources said that seven four cases were forwarded by ASO Faisalabad and four cases were forwarded by ASO Sarai-e-Muhajir. The additional collector also heard five cases which were submitted by Anti- Smuggling Organization Mianwali. Sources said that ASO Sargodha filed four cases which were related to tax evasion. Six cases were submitted by the Collectorate, DTRE branch Faisalabad.

After conducting the hearing additional Collector Asma Hameed adjourned many the hearing of some cases till next date additional collector directed all relevant parties to make sure their appearance during next date of hearing.
