Additional Collector Beelamur Ramzan issues notice to owner of non-duty Premio

FAISALABAD: Additional Collector Customs Adjudication Beelamur Ramzan has issued a show-cause notice to the owner of a non-duty paid Toyota Premio car worth Rs 900,000.

Sources told Customs Today, that the additional collector issued the show cause notice to Muhammad Amin son of Muhammad Aslam who is a resident of Karim Town Faisalabad.

The vehicle bearing registration no. LEB-14-1111 model 2002 silver colour was brought into the country through un-authorized routes and without payment of customs duty and taxes.

The Faisalabad Anti Smuggling Organization ( ASO ), intercepted the  above said vehicle near Fawara Chowk, Hilal Road Faisalabad. Customs authoritities after impounding the vehicle forwarded the case to Customs Adjudication for further proceedings.

The authority also directed the owner to provide evidence before because the case will be decided on proof. Collectorate also directed the deputy collector and the concerned seizure officer with the case proceedings may be deputed to attend the hearing on 5-08-2016 along with relevant record.
