Additional Collector Beelamur Ramzan issues show-cause notice to owner of non-duty paid truck

FAISALABAD: Additional Collector Beelamur Ramzan of the Customs Collectorate Faisalabad  has issued a show-cause notice to owner of a non-duty paid Hino truck.

Sources told Customs Today that the additional collector issued the show cause notice to Muhammad Umar son of Obaidullah who is a resident of Watta Kareez tehsil and district Pashin.

The vehicle bearing registration no. TKA-385 was brought into country through un-authorized routes and without payment of customs duty.

Customs authortities after impouding the vehile forwaded the case to Customs Adjudication for further proceedings.

The authority also directed the owner to provide evidence because the case will be decided on the basis of evidence available on demand.

Collectorate also directed the deputy director Customs Intelligence and Investigationthat the concerned seizure officer or other officer with the case proceedings may be deputed to attend the hearing on the schedule date along with relevant record.
