Additional Collector Beelamur Ramzan issues show-cause notice to owner of non-duty paid vehicle

FAISALABAD: Customs Adjudication Additional collector Beelamur Ramzan has issued a show-cause notice to the owner of non-customs paid Benz truck.

Sources told Customs Today that a team of the Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) Mianwali impounded a truck which was coming from Kalabagh side and was heading towards Mianwali. The ASO team forwarded the seizure case to Customs Adjudication department Faisalabad.

After receiving the above case, Additional Collector Beelamur Ramzan has issued a show cause notice to Mir Bakhat Khan son of Ajab Khan who is a resident of Kabul Afghanistan to appear before Adjudication authorities on the date of hearing. The adjudication authorities directed the owner to bring legal documentary evidence.

The Customs Adjudication authority also directed that if he fails to provide evidence the case will be decided on the basis of evidence available on demand.

Beelam ur Ramzan also directed the Deputy Collector Muhammad Rizwan Khan to depute any officer who is relevant with the case to attend the hearing on the schedule date along with relevant record.
