Additional Collector Beelum issues notice to owner of NDP Lexus car

FAISALABAD: Customs Adjudication Additional Collector Beelumur Ramzan has issued show cause notice to owner of used Lexus V 6 car.

As per the details, the Faisalabad Customs Intelligence impounded Lexus car bearing registration no: FDO -789 Islamabad. Acting upon the said information, a customs intelligence team established a check post near MM Road Mianwali and intercepted the vehicle but the driver did not stop the vehicle. However, the customs team chased the vehicle but the driver successfully escaped leaving behind the car.

The customs intelligence team impounded the vehicle and tried to trace the driver but failed. The Customs Adjudication issued the notice to the suspect on the violation of Section 10-A. 89(1) and 156(1) of the Customs Act 1969. However, the adjudication will wait for the reply by November 27-2018 which is also the last date of hearing.
