KARACHI: Issuing Order-in-Original (ONO), Customs Collectorate (Adjudication-II) Additional Collector Samiul Haq fined Sheikh Tube Mills Rs 100,000 for involvement in misdeclaration of alloy sheet.

Customs Department sources said, according to ONO, Sheikh Tube Mills with the connivance of clearing agent Javed Umar Enterprises used wrong PTC and tried to clear alloy sheet coil instead of alloy sheet. Due to this action, national exchequer suffered losses worth Rs 839,000.
