Additional Deputy Collector Asma issues show cause notice to owner of non-duty paid vehicle

FAISALABAD: The Customs Adjudication Additional Deputy Collector Asma Hameed issued a show cause notice to Muhammad Rasheed owner of a non-duty paid Mitsubishi Pajero jeep.

As per the details, Faisalabad Customs Intelligence impounded a non-duty paid Mitsubishi Pajero jeep bearing registration no: TKA-839 during an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) near Gatwala Toll Plaza Faisalabad.

The ASO team asked the driver to show documents but he remained failed. The intelligence team forward a case to Customs adjudication for further legally action.

The Customs Adjudication issued notices to accused person due to violation of Section 10-A 89(1) and 156(1) of the Customs Act 1969. However, the adjudication directed the accused Muhammad Rasheed to file reply by given time.  The case of vehicle might be decided during the next hearing 7-9-2018.
