Adjudication Addl. Collector Saima issues 4 ONOs against non-duty paid vehicles

FAISALABAD: Customs Adjudication Additional Collector Saima Aftab has issued four Order-in-Originals (ONOs) against the accused parties while settling the cases of non-duty paid vehicles.

The additional collector heard the cases filed by the Customs Intelligence and Investigation’s Field Investigation Unit Khushab.

Saima heard cases of Hino Ranger Dumper Truck bearing Registration No AE- 1193, Mazda Truck No FDV-7351, Hino open truck Registration No TKB-225, and Toyota Rav Jeep No MC-844. The competent authority issued ONOs against the accused persons named Muhammad Anwar Khan, Muhammad Khalid, Khawaja Asad Maqsood and Akhtar Shah as they failed to prove the legal import of the vehicles.

The additional director also ordered to impound the vehicles, which were brought into country without payment of duty/taxes.
