FAISALABAD: Customs Adjudication Deputy Collector Asma Hameed heard 19 cases of smuggling and tax evasion on Tuesday and adjourned all of them until next date of hearing.
The deputy collector heard cases of smuggled foreign origin vehicle, almond without shell, LED TV, grey fabrics, mobile phones and others miscellaneous items.
According to details, she heard one case filed by Faisalabad Anti-Smuggling Organisations (ASO), three cases of Mianwali ASO and four cases of Sargodha ASO.
Asma Hameed also heard four cases of tax evasion field by Faisalabad Customs Intelligence and Investigation and seven cases of smuggled cell phones submitted by Air Fright Unit (AFU).
