Adjudication decides 23,000 kg plastic dana case in Custom I&I favour

LAHORE: Collectortae of Customs Adjudication Lahore has ordered confiscation of 23,000 kg granules in favour of Customs Investigation and Intelligence as charges mentioned against the accused party were proved.

The Customs Adjudication Additional Collector of Customs Qurat-ul-Ain Dogar has given the orders of confiscation of plastic dana after allegations were proved under Clause 89 of Section 156 (1) of the Customs Act 1969.

As per details the 920 bags of plastic dana loaded in a truck bearing registration noTKF-792 were seized in a joint raid by customs anti-smuggling preventive Lahore and  customs I&I at the Defence Raiwind Road , Lahore on May 2, 2014.

Haji Nabi Bakhsh, Rozi Khan, Haji Qadeer, Abdul Rasheed and Abdul Ghani and Muhammad Nawaz were respondents in the case.
