LAHORE: Additional Collector Adjudication Quratul Ain Dogar has decided that Toyota Land Cruiser LE-15 -7782 confiscated by Customs ASO Lahore was lawful as the owner had failed to produce vehicle clearance documents.
According to details, a blue Land Cruiser was confiscated by ASO team near Maulana Shaukat Ali Road in Johar Town from Rana Tahir as he failed to produce clearance document.
The additional collector said that the respondents failed to produce documents to show legal procession of the vehicle. She decided that the vehicle was rightfully confiscated under clause (89) of section 156 of Customs Act 1969. She decided the case on the basis available finding that the charge was established against the respondents.
