The customs officials had also seized the petrol engines, besides sending a report to adjudication for further proceedings. ASO Faisalabad Superintendent Zahid Raza Bukhari represented the department in the court. The suspects, driver Sajid Hussain and owner of engines HIzbullah, could not produce any evidence to show the legal import of the vehicle and engines on which deputy collector Customs Adjudication ordered to impound the vehicle.

On the other hand, the owner of engines pleaded the court that he was ready to pay liable duty/taxes on the seized engines on which authority said that accused person could get release of his items after payment of taxes within 30 days after ONO.
