PESHAWAR: AJ Textile Mills Ltd Chief Executive Afan Aziz has been elected unopposed as chairman, Zonal/Regional Managing Committee of All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (Aptma) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Region.
Afan Aziz is son of Senator Mohsin Aziz, Vice Chairman KP Board of Investment & Trade, a well-known prominent businessman of KP. Afan Aziz is Honorary Consul of The Republic of Korea for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and member board of directors of Mohsin Enterprises, Premier Formica, Premier Chip Board and Mohsin Match Factory. Afan Aziz is also on the board of governors for Paraplegic Centre Peshawar. He has also remained as President of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the year 2011-12.
All office-bearers and members of Zonal, Regional Managing Committee APTMA (KP Region) for the year 2015-16 including one representative Mohammad Taimoor Shah, Director M/s Sarhad Textile Mills Ltd, of the KPK Zone/Region in the Aptma Central Executive Committee, Karachi, were elected unopposed.
Others who elected as members of zonal, regional managing committee Aptma KP included, Sikandar Kuli Khan Khattak, Director M/s Babri Cotton Mills Ltd, Kohat as Vice-Chairman APTMA KPK Region while, Rana Kaleemullah, G.M (Finance) M/s Saif Textile Mills Ltd, Gadoon as Treasurer.
