His parents were convinced and allowed him to travel to Dubai.

When JA arrived in Dubai on May 12, a customs inspector suspected him and searched his luggage.

Inspector Rashid Abdullah found the Dubai customs document and testified, “Being familiar with the department’s letter, I suspected the documents JA provided as it looked different. I also found a letter attributed to a bank in Dubai.”

When confronted about the documents, JA admitted to forging them by getting a copy of it in the internet.

“He told me that he did that to persuade his parents that he has a job in Dubai so that they would allow him to leave his country,” the inspector testified.

Criminal Evidences reported that the document attributed to Dubai Customs was forged and undersigned by the accused.

The bank also reported that they have never issued a bank account in the name of the accused.

JA is facing charge of forging unofficial documents.
