AFU surpasses collection target by Rs01million

ISLAMABAD: The Air Freight Unit (AFU) Islamabad achieved its assigned target for month of February FY2016-17 as it collected Rs186million against the assigned the target of Rs185 million Customs Duty. According to Additional Collector AFU, the collectorate revised the target of February FY2016-17 under the head of Customs Duty as AFU’s revenue activity stopped during long holidays of China.

During December the AFU generated Rs124.68million CD. During November FY16-17 the AFU collected revenue of Rs126.71 million. The AFU received Rs121.68million revenue during September whereas it collected revenue of Rs145.24 million during August and did Rs95.16million CD during July FY16-17.
