TUCSON: Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents from the Nogales and Willcox stations working immigration checkpoint operations interdicted two human smuggling attempts.   The interdictions resulted in the arrest of four United States citizens and two Mexican nationals illegally present in the United States.

Yesterday, agents at the Interstate 19 checkpoint north of Tubac, referred two men in a Nissan Altima to the secondary inspection area.  During the search, agents found an illegal immigrant from Mexico concealed in the trunk.  The driver and passenger of the vehicle were arrested for smuggling and the Mexican national is pending removal proceedings.
