Agri experts ordered to guide farmers of flooded areas

MULTAN: Provincial parliamentary secretary for agriculture Rana Ejaz Ahmed Noon directed agriculture experts to guide farmers to minimise losses of crops and orchards after floods.

He said that their guidance could help farmers at the critical situation. He also directed them to complete surveys of damaged corps and orchards for compensation. He said the government would not leave farmers alone and also stressed agriculture officials to visit areas where floodwater had receded.
